This is Japanese beat musician axion117’s debut release with Collective Resonance. His music has been described as dreamy, atmospheric, Jazz-infused, modern Trip Hop and he claims to be heavily influenced by artists such as Prefuse73, J Dilla, Madlib, Sun Ra, Miles Davis, DJ Krush and Flying Lotus to name just a few.
Two tracks off of this EP called Rebuild and Meditation, have been played on BBC Radio (Introducing Norfolk Show) as well as on Subcity Radio (Glasgow University Station), ByteFM (German station), WRIR (US based) and KSJS (San Jose State University station.)
Axion117 has also achieved recognition from respected music blogs and websites such as KevinNottingham.com, FinestEgo.com, BeatTapeCo-Op, EarFood and others.
